Mumbai: Rock Star is considered an overbearing hit of Ranbir Kapoor of the year 2011. Day by day his fan following is budding with every new release. His first film, Saawariya which was released on 2007, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was a box office disaster. A year later, Ranbir returned with Bachna Ae Haseeno which did remarkable impact on the box-office.
But on the year 2009, Ranbir proven
himself in the industry. Wake up Sid was a bit momentous with its
relaxed jerk. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani was a box office super hit.
Year 2010 was prodigious too, with two
bombastic releases. Rajneeti was the super hit movie of Ranbir’s career
and Anjaana Anjaani with Priyanka Chopra was a normal grosser.
Thumbs up to all who have been expecting Imtiaz Ali’s film Rockstar to be a follow up to Rock On! Rock star
is not just about rock music. It’s a love mounting story who goes to
enthusiasm of love story with spiritual feelings. Overall a film had
been made with passion and spellbound Sufi or the elegance of a spinning
dervish. But at few glimpse moments it has been fails to maintain its
natural beauty.
Rockstar probably considered the best
film of his career. It has been a lot of expectations from his audience.
In the first half of the film the companionship between Ranbir and
Nargis makes for a strong bounding of hate and love. In the second half
that the film goes for a big turn, a drunken and rejected rock star’s
and his guilt annoyed ladylove’s obsession.
Ranbir Kapoor comes up with a rock-solid
performance that sees the makeover of his character. On the other hand
Nargis character is not much seems to be stable it has been seems a lack
of experience in acting loaded with the most complex character in the
movie.
Kumud Mishra and Aditi Rao Hydari who played a role of journalist give a big support from the spin-offs.
