Yash Raj Films ventures into Hollywood - Sanna Nasser Sheikh





Bollywood banner Yash Raj Films has planned to jerk into the international market. It will be produce international content under the banner of Yash Raj Films and introducing a Hollywood based production and Financing Company.

The company is launched by named YRF Entertainment. It will focus on emerging and producing feature films for the US and the international market. His company is funded by Yash Raj Films. In assistance his younger son Uday Chopra will serve as the CEO of YRF Entertainment.


Uday Chopra said:"My family has a deep commitment to making and distributing quality films that entertain and enlighten audiences. I share that passion, as well as a love for American films that I have had since childhood. It is that enthusiasm and my love of the creative process of filmmaking that drove me to start this new venture."

YRF Entertainment is producing and financing a comedy film The Longest Week. The lead stars are Jason Bateman, Olivia Wilde and Billy Crudup.

This movie is being written and directed by Peter Glanz, produced by Uday and  Neda Armian. The executive producers of this comedy film are Jonathan Reiman, Chris Marsh, Stone Douglass and Taylor Materne.

The film is based on a story of a bratty man-child played. He still lives with his parents in a Manhattan hotel, but swiftly finds himself homeless, disowned and hopelessly in love with his best friend's.

YRF Entertainment is also working on a number of projects In Bollywood Yash Raj Films produce ordinary Bollywood films. Yash Chopra's production new arrival is his eldest son Aditya’s “Ladies vs Ricky Bahl”, it’s a romantic comedy film and the lead actors are Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. The film releases on December 9.

Practically after seven years, filmmaker Yash Chopra back  to direction. The new untitled project will feature superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
