Movie Review: Guzaarish - By: Sana Naseer Shaikh

"Guzaarish" is the masterpiece of legendary director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who here not only directed but wrote the script, co-produced the film, and composed the music. The Film release on November 19th 2010. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s tells a dark tale of Ethan (Haritak Rosha)a radio show host, who is a paraplegic. Aishwarya Rai is a married woman who is his nurse. The movie is also brigs up the disagreement ride issue of euthanasia. A person, who no matter how desperate the situation, gives others hope, is a true organizer.

The heart storyline is borrowed from the 1981 classic "Whose Life Is It Anyway?", in turn bulk-produced from the Broadway and West End multi-award-winning play of the same title: an artist (originally a sculptor, here a great magician), quadriplegic after an accident, when his internal organs start failing petitions a court for the right to end his own life, inciting a whirlwind of controversy in the lives of all those who love and care for him. But do not be deterred by the bleak-sounding premise. Through the whiz kid of Bhansali -- and actors Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan -- "Guzaarish" transcend any and all preconception. "Guzaarish" becomes a joyous celebration of Life, of living every moment to the full and living with decorum.

People who disagree in favor of assist suicide and euthanasia often say they and others should not live if they are a burden and require help in feeding and self-care. They say that such a life lacks decorum and independence.  They say handicapped people are a exhaust on the health care coordination.Extreme anxiety is a necessary ingredient to learning anything, or creating anything.
