Alas ! Mr. Rauf Khalid, A passionate Leader for youth- By: Sanna Nasser Sheikh

It’s a mournful evening for me today & feeling very sad on great loss of our true motivated Leader. Sir Rauf Khalid had died last evening in road accident. He's from Peshawar, was residing in Islamabad and died en route to Lahore on the motorway last evening at 6:00 pm. Apparently his car tire burst and he smashed into the dividing fence.

Mr. Khalid founded Islamabad Institute of Cultural Studies at Lok Virsa. He was its President Chancellor. I talked him for the first time on October 2010 for showing my piece of writing. It is really great honor for me that I conducted his interview & published in “THE NEWS TRIBE”.

He was a passionate Pakistani loyalist and nationalist. A great talented persona, Our Leader, Adviser & charming Personality. I really feel proud to work with him as a coordinator, his work, lust to endow the youth should not stop here. We people never stop his mission that he works for and it has expanded at large scale. I want to give tribute for his Achievements that never will be forgotten.

Abdul Rauf Khalid's(late) triumphs at a peep. The President of Pakistan awarded for a "Pride of Performance." The Prime Minister of Pakistan awarded for a “The Kashmir Medal" Bolan Award for Best Director Bolan Award for Best Writer Graduate Guild Award for "Best Director" Graduate Guild Award for "Best Producer" National Pakistan Award for Best Director National Pakistan Award for Best Film National Pakistan Award for Best Writer National Pakistan Award for Best Original Soundtrack Lux Style Award for "Best Film" in 2005 and much more.

We love you and we miss you and you will always be remembered in my and every ones prayers! May Almighty Allah bless our very superb & great leader Sir Rauf Khalid's soul with eternal peace and may give courage to the bereaved family to tolerate this irremediable loss. Ameen!
